Dreame Bot W10 self-cleaning robot vacuum cleaner and mop solve some common problems of two-in-one floor cleaners. These appliances are often difficult to remove deep or dry dirt from hard floors, because their mopping method-sticking a damp microfiber cloth to the bottom of the robot and dragging it across the floor-cannot provide what is needed to loosen and remove it. Churned.

They also require a lot of manual intervention, from emptying and refilling the small-capacity water tank during cleaning to wringing out and washing the mop to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria, which weakens the self-cleaning experience. Dreame Bot W10 solves these problems with a stricter and self-cleaning mopping system, which is similar to the Narwal T10 we reviewed earlier.

The W10 robot itself is similar to other high-end robot vacuum cleaners, but with some major design adjustments. It uses an unusual D-shaped design-the front end is square, allowing it to enter the corner better than the more traditional circular robot-and it uses a pair of rotating mopping mats instead of microfiber cloth. These mats continuously spread clean water on the floor and scrub loose dirt for easy removal. After the mopping is completed, the W10 will return to its base, where the mat will be automatically cleaned and blow-dried to prevent bacteria and odors.

To this end, W10 uses a large charging base, which contains two 4-liter water tanks, one for clean water and one for dirty water. Before each mopping work, you only need to fill the "clean" water tank with fresh water. When the robot is mopping the floor, it will periodically return to the base, take fresh water from the clean water tank, and pour the used water into the dirty water tank, and then continue cleaning until the work is completed.

The W10 mopping mat will be automatically cleaned and heated to dry when it returns to the base after cleaning.

W10 has a quick mapping function, which can be selected in the application, and the environment can be explored without cleaning, and a map is constructed in the Mi Home supporting application to draw an effective cleaning path. You can edit this map by combining, splitting and naming rooms as well as setting virtual boundaries and "no entry" areas, all of which allow you to customize the W10 cleaning method. For example, you can send W10 to clean a specific room instead of the entire downstairs of your home. It can store up to three floor plans, making it an excellent choice for multi-storey houses.

You can choose from four cleaning modes: vacuuming, mopping and all-in-one cleaning. In vacuum mode, W10 cleans in S-shaped mode and increases suction power when carpet is detected. It mops the floor in up-down mode, which is more similar to the way you use a stick mop. When W10 is paused, you can also activate the spot cleaning mode, which will clean a 1.5 x 1.5 m square area around the starting point.

The Mi Home application supports a large number of customizations. You can specify which rooms should be cleaned with the corresponding cleaning frequency according to the degree of soiling of the room, arrange cleaning tasks and adjust the frequency of self-cleaning, to name a few. You can also adjust the suction power of the vacuum cleaner and the humidity level of the mopping mat, and choose to let the W10 pass on the floor once or twice. The application will also record your cleaning work; track the usage of W10 filters, brushes and mopping mats; and provide a remote control and "locate my robot" function to trigger W10's voice assistant to help you find willful equipment.

W10's rapid mapping function scans the environment to build a map without cleaning.

Although W10 helps a lot in making floor cleaning a fully automated experience, keeping the equipment itself clean and functional still requires a lot of manual labor. The filter of the fresh water tank needs to be cleaned every three months, and the dirty water tank must be taken out and rinsed after each use to prevent peculiar smell.

Place the W10 on it when docking and clean and dry the washboard of the mopping mat. You must also remove it every two weeks and use the tools provided to clean it, and wipe the charging base with a clean cloth before reinserting the washboard. Then, as long as the roller and side brush of the vacuum cleaner are tangled with the hair or carpet fibers, they will be basically cleaned.

If you need and have a way to take advantage of Dreame Bot W10's advanced cleaning technology, none of these will prevent you from considering Dreame Bot W10. It keeps my hard floors as clean as outside of old-fashioned manual scrubbing and greatly reduces annoying housework.

Dreame Technology's W10 sweeping robot/mop hybrid robot can clean your floor and then clean it by itself after the work is completed.
