Porvair Filtration Group announced the launch of seven new metal Compfil™ filters for process air and gas applications, further expanding its microfiltration product range. These filters have many different characteristics and can be used in many industries, including aseptic applications in water, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage manufacturing. The expanded Compfil™ series builds on Porvair's existing series, offering a complete set of disposable and metal compressed air filters. CompfilTM PD, WD, WV, ST and PC CompfilTM PD, WD, WV, ST and PC are a series of sterile depth filters for process air and gas applications. These pleated depth filters are composed of a three-dimensional borosilicate depth medium that can achieve a void volume of 95% and are designed to ensure high capacity at high flow rates and low pressure differences. Compfil™ SF is a series of sintered steel sterile filters for gas, liquid and steam. Compfil™ SF filters are designed to remove particles from gas, liquid and steam. SF consists of a renewable isostatic filter cartridge made of sintered stainless steel. The retention rate ranges from 1μm to 25μm. Compfil™ AR is a series of pre- and final filters with absolute rejection rates used to remove particles from aqueous solutions, water and other liquids, and gases. AR consists of renewable stainless steel mesh, stainless steel outer shield and end caps. The retention rate ranges from 5μm to 250μm.
