Hi, what are you looking for?

Zu Audio consolidates several of its speaker lines into the Union 6. Did they make the right move? Let’s see what it offers.

Zu Audio has been making loudspeakers for 22 years and we’ve been fans and customers for over a decade. Sean Casey has never played by the rules in the high-end audio world and that’s perfectly fine on our book. The pandemic has not been kind to our friends in Utah; supply chain issues have led to long delays and the end of the Omen Dirty Weekend project as well. The new Zu Union 6 lineup has been unveiled and we’re very intrigued.

Zu Audio has decided to revamp its speaker product line. Their new Zu Union 6 Series are designed to replace several recent models: Omen Dirty Weekend, Omen 2, Soul Supreme, Omen Bookshelf, Omen Center Channel, and Zu Cube.

Making such a move is a big undertaking. Here is what Zu Audio had in mind:

The Union 6 is described by Zu Audio as a “full-spectrum, highly resolving and robust floor-standing loudspeaker”.

The Union 6 Series floorstanding loudspeakers are available direct from Zu Audio with prices starting at $2,899/pair.

Tip: Zu Audio has also indicated that a Union 6 Supreme floorstanding version starting at $3,899 as well as a Bookshelf version starting at $1,799 are expected to become available sometime in July 2022.

The highly acclaimed Canton Vento Series Loudspeakers have arrived in N. America and we plan on reviewing at least 2 models this year.

Two very different high-end loudspeakers caught our attention from Boenicke and DeVore Fidelity on day one of The Home Entertainment Show, Long Beach, CA.

The OJAS Shelf Horn Mod Kit package is not inexpensive at $5,500 plus stands but driven by the Audio Hungary A50i Integrated Amplifier was...

Never judge a loudspeaker by its size. The Boenicke W8 is not inexpensive at $8,500, but it's quite the experience.

Common Wave Hi-Fi brought the new DeVore Fidelity O/baby to T.H.E. Show 2022 and it's quite the loudspeaker.

The Klipsch Jubilee Celebrates 75 years of success and is the culmination of a lifelong dream. Paul W. Klipsch would have loved these.

The Klipsch Reference Premiere Series has been completely revamped for 2022 and the new RP-600M II is making waves already.

If your budget stretches between $10,000 to $15,000 -- you really need to consider the Rega Aethos Integrated Amplifier.
