Samsung and Leeum Art Museum bring more art to The Frame TV-SamMobile

Samsung announced a collaboration with Leeum Art Museum in Seoul, South Korea to bring more artworks to The Frame TV. The collaboration brought 17 new paintings to the company's lifestyle TV lineup through Samsung's art store.

The new art collection includes Kunsendo, which is considered to be the greatest masterpiece of Kim Hongdo. He is a full-time painter during the Joseon Dynasty in South Korea. The art collection also includes paintings such as the original Phoenix Gate, the 31st volume of the Dafangguang Buddhist Sutra, and Gyeonggi Gamyeongdo in the late Joseon period.

These brand-new works of art have exquisite patterns and beautiful color performance, which are perfectly presented on TheFrame's 4K QLED screen. Users can purchase digital versions of these paintings, or they can subscribe to Samsung's art store to access more than 1,600 works of art from more than 50 partners around the world.

Lee Kwang-bae, a senior researcher at Leeum Art Museum, said: “Due to the nature of antique artworks, they must be installed in glass display cases for preservation and safety reasons. It is usually difficult for visitors to see the details of these artworks. Artworks. You will be able to enjoy the exquisite beauty of the moment."

Leeum, also known as Samsung Art Museum, is operated by Samsung Cultural Foundation. Its collection includes ancient Korean paintings and artworks, 36 of which have been designated as Korean National Treasures.
