Recently on the Ghostbusters News YouTube channel, I had the pleasure of trying out Sproton Pack coffee, a blend inspired by Ghostbusters from Buffalo-based roaster Bean Bastard.

What surprised many was that the unique roast doesn’t take cues from the tangerine-heavy Hi-C Ecto Cooler or have a hint of charred marshmallow, with Bean Bastard providing their own spin and flavor combo that included “raspberry, dark chocolate, and nuclear accelerator notes.”

The posting of the above taste test was pretty poor timing on our part, as nearly the day it went live, Bean Bastard sold out of Sproton Pack, leading to them being inundated with messages from fans asking about a potential restock.

In today’s update, Bean Bastard has just relisted what should be known as the nectar of the Gozerian God, with Sproton Pack now back in stock, being made available to fans within the United States.

As not only a Ghostbusters fan but as a newly found coffee drinker, I can’t recommend Sproton Pack enough. Since filming the taste test a few weeks ago, it’s become my go-to brew when starting my morning, with the raspberry and dark chocolate packing a subtle yet flavourful punch.
