This machine is the largest and most powerful CTL in the company's history.

Case Construction Equipment introduced the TV620B compact crawler loader. The 114-horsepower, 6,200-pound rated working capacity CTL provides breakthrough power-and more standardized features than any previous CASE CTL provides. This includes standard adjustable electro-hydraulic controls, high-flow hydraulics, autopilot controls, one-way auto-leveling, hydraulic couplers, auto-reversing fans, LED lights, and a one-year subscription to CASE SiteWatch telematics. It is also equipped with a new 1.25 cubic yard heavy-duty bucket specially designed for TV620B.

The new CASE TV620B also features a new CASE SiteConnect module, remote connection and software updates via the SiteManager application (iOS and Android), and a connection to the CASE uptime center to facilitate communication between CASE, local CASE dealers and equipment Carry out a collaborative fleet management owner.

"The industry has never seen such a CTL, and we focus on providing super power and performance that match intuitive technology that simplifies ownership and operation," said George MacIntyre, CASE Construction Equipment Product Manager. "The TV620B is designed to simplify heavy tasks such as cold planing, covering, heavy material handling, and loading high-side trucks. No loader on the market today has this level of standard features as well as powerful functions, stability and performance-it can Undertake important work."

TV620B also features advanced technologies introduced at the launch of the CASE B series CTL, including a completely redesigned operator interface, industry-leading 360-degree visibility, and an 8-inch LCD multi-function display used as a machine command center. It also includes a rear-view camera, visible in a split-screen display with machine data.

CASE TV620B has operating capacity (6,200 pounds), digging power (12,084 pounds bucket; 12,907 pounds lift) and ground track length (74 inches).

The new heavy-duty landing gear and heavy-duty 17.7-inch rubber tracks further support ground performance and machine strength, minimize ground interference (6.1 psi), and enhance performance on improved surfaces.

TV620B offers a variety of buckets, including a heavy-duty 84-inch 1.25 cubic yard bucket with SmartFit teeth, specifically designed for other heavy-duty accessories such as covering heads, cold planers and the new CASE grading blade. CASE will release additional heavy-duty accessories designed for use with TV620B, and enhance the hydraulic cooling capacity of the machine to support the use of such heavy-duty, high-capacity accessories.

"The combination of strength, performance and stability of the TV620B is unmatched by any other machine, and it provides a powerful platform for the use of larger buckets and large-capacity attachments," MacIntyre said. "Heavy pallets, larger trucks, and operating accessories that require an enhanced high-flow hydraulic system can all be easily handled by this machine. The combination of ground track, hinge pin height, and maximum dump height specifications really makes this machine designed for Designed to load trucks of various sizes."

CASE TV620B extends the intuitive control of the B series CTL through new control functions and standardization. It is equipped with an adjustable electro-hydraulic control device as standard, allowing the operator to set the overall response of the machine to low, medium or aggressive; or independently set the tilt, lift and drive speed, as well as the loading arm and drive control, to best Meet job needs. A simple button allows the operator to choose between H or ISO operating mode. "Crawl speed" allows the operator to set the machine speed to a consistent/slow "crawl", while independently setting the accessory speed through the throttle to optimize the use of accessories, such as cold planers and brooms.

Unique to CASE TV620B is the new “hydraulic on demand” feature, which allows the operator to easily select the percentage of auxiliary hydraulic flow through the machine’s multi-function display. This allows the operator to adjust the performance of the accessory according to his own preferences or the accessory manufacturer's recommendations.

TV620B also has standard autopilot control with adjustable speed settings. When the CTL reaches a pre-specified speed, it will immediately activate driving control. Just enable and disable this function in the machine's multi-function display.

It also has a foot pedal that provides one of three functions according to the operator's preferences-accelerator (traditional acceleration), translation (reduced drive speed but retains the RPM of the load arm function), and deceleration (traditional deceleration).

"We provide operators with more precise and intuitive control than CASE CTL, and make the machine easy to operate, suitable for the widest possible range of applications," MacIntyre said.

CASE TV620B combines Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR), Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to comply with emission regulations-it does not have a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and does not require regeneration.

"This emission solution does not require downtime related to regeneration, does not require lifetime service related to DPF, and is easy to manage by the owner," MacIntyre said. "We have also integrated large diesel (30.8 gallons) and diesel exhaust treatment fluid (3.3 gallons) tanks to extend the working days that need to be completed."

The standard hydraulic automatic reversing fan further reduces the accumulation of debris in the engine compartment-the operator can easily set the frequency and duration of fan operation in the multi-function display in the cab.

As with the entire series of CASE compact crawler loaders, all major maintenance points can be easily reached at the rear of the machine. Through the standard one-year CASE SiteWatch telematics service, daily services and overall fleet management have been further improved.

Improvements in machine design and technology also include the new CASE SiteConnect module-introduced for the first time on the CASE G series wheel loaders. The SiteConnect module can achieve more powerful telematics performance, remote diagnosis and remote software updates, thereby simplifying fleet management activities. This enhanced connectivity allows machine owners to decide to share real-time machine information with dealers and the CASE uptime center in Racine, Wisconsin.

"These technologies help CASE and our dealers better stay in touch with on-site service and fleet management needs, and significantly reduce the time required to identify machine problems, respond on-site, and ensure optimal uptime," MacIntyre said .

The CASE part implements new remote service functions through the new SiteManager application (iOS and Android). This application pairs the operator's mobile phone or device with the machine to enable remote analysis. Then, a certified CASE technician diagnoses the health of each connected machine through various parameter readings and fault codes, and then the technician determines whether the problem can be solved remotely (such as clearing the code or updating the software), or whether it is necessary to go to the machine.

The SiteConnect module also improves the data volume, flow and integration of the CASE SiteWatch telematics platform for real-time monitoring, maintenance and service interval management, equipment utilization check and overall machine record keeping.

"TV620B represents the most powerful, complete and intuitive CTL we have ever built. It is definitely different from what the industry has seen-from its pure specifications to new control functions and remote fleet management functions," MacIntyre Say. "No matter which industry you are in, this machine can take CTL functions to a whole new level."

The Extension Office of the University of Massachusetts Amherst recently issued a fact sheet.

Amherst, Massachusetts — The University of Massachusetts Amherst's Office of Extension recently released two new fact sheets to help those concerned about the spread of invasive earthworms.

They have many names: jumping worm, crazy worm, snake worm and Alabama jumper. These common names refer to earthworms of the genus Amynthas native to Asia. Unlike common species such as nightcrawlers, these jumping worms may have different-and possibly harmful effects-on the environment. According to reports, they are increasingly found in gardens, lawns, farms and forests throughout the Commonwealth.

Springtails can change soil quality, especially in forested areas, and may even trigger changes that are beneficial to invasive plants under the forest. Some of the most important effects of these earthworms have been seen in the forest ecosystem. Worms can have this effect because they consume the upper organic layer of the soil, which loses nutrients and leads to erosion. Unknowingly, humans may spread earthworms unknowingly: when people move soil, mulch, compost, and potted plants from one place to another, jumping earthworm eggs (in about the size of a mustard seed) Found in cocoons) or adults may be transported unknowingly. other.

Two new UMass Extension fact sheets answer questions about prevention and transmission and the biology and identification of these earthworms and the options available if you find these worms in your property. The fact sheet is available here:
