The ultimate challenge of Billboard NXT is here.

The final challenge for Billboard NXT-Billboard and Samsung Galaxy's first singing competition of its kind, aimed at discovering the next great unsigned artist-the task of 12 contestants is a unique proposition: slow down, and run They go out.

Using their Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G to capture their content from the best angle, the task of the contestants is to slow down the track of their choice in their performance clips-while speeding up themselves through some sports activities. Each of the 12 artists showed off some of their best moves to date, while performing some remastered versions of familiar favorites.

Billboard NXT contestants are ranked on a customized Billboard leaderboard every week. Three top artists enter the finals and are paired with one of three superstar celebrity mentors: Charli XCX, Anitta and Todrick Hall. Each finalist will perform at the final of the competition (a live event on Billboard.com), and the winner will receive a Billboard cover, music video, studio time for recording the first single and tickets to the Billboard Music Awards .

Amir Brandon, "Firefly"

Jaen Leo, "sick"

For "So Sick", Jayne Rio added some classic TikTok actions to the cover of the break-up song, intertwining the tracks with perfectly timed actions.

Jordan occasionally, "complicated"

"Complicated" became a trendy R&B track thanks to Jordan Occasionally, who performed an excellent cover with smooth movements and their signature vocal acrobatics.

Mackenzie Johnson, "Firefly"

For the top-notch acoustic cover of "Firefly", Mackenzie Johnson showed an energetic performance and gave up the guitar in the middle to show off some lively choreography.

Millens, "do it"

Starting slowly with the energetic "Do It", mreens improved their performance to a notch by adding some hopscotch moves to adapt to the indelible beat.

Serpenta included her "Firefly" cover in her performance clips and added some TikTok gestures for fun performances.

Sophie Marks, "Turn the Rhythm"

"Turn The Beat Around" became Sophie Marks' latest slow-paced R&B track-she arranged a fun aerobic exercise video with a retro workout look.

Sukhya, "Do it"

Soukhya turned this challenge into her own spinning course, showing off the animated cover of "Do It" while riding a stationary bike-all of which is effortless!
