Assembly to Act on Legislative Package Addressing Food Insecurity, Including the “Working Families’ Anti-Hunger Act”

Also to be Considered— Legislation Establishing Electric School Bus Program; Supporting Children of Military Families; Creating Sickle Cell Trait Registry

(TRENTON) – The full Assembly will convene on Thursday, May 26 to consider a legislative package to bolster critical food safety nets and address food insecurity in New Jersey. Also on the agenda are bills to create an electric school bus program, support children of military families, and raise awareness for Sickle Cell Trait among other legislation.
